Summer Reading Season is Here!
The Summer Reading season is here! Today, the Visual Thesaurus is joining the New York Times Learning Network and a host of other organizations and individuals (for a complete list, go here), in tweeting about summer reading using the hashtag #summerreading. Please join us!
Reading is a great way to develop and build your vocabulary, and to celebrate this essential activity we’re posting several new vocabulary lists made of words from great summer reading titles. Brush up on the vocabulary words in advance to bump up your reading comprehension, or revisit words from a book you’ve already read.
But as this is summer reading, make sure you have a tall iced tea in your hand, a shady deck chair or spot on the beach...
