About Me
I am a small woman, green eyed and with gray brown hair. My interests are in literature, psychology, and art. I seem to have friends with different interests, such as politics and science and music. I enjoy that difference. My field as a scholar was/is Italian Renaissance Humanism. Even in today's world, I am interested in moral problems as illuminated by classical authors. I include among classics the Western tradition through the Modernist period. I also admire modern Japanese literature and film making. Though my language is now American English, I speak French,German, and (haltingly) Italian.
