Six years retired from teaching high school Language Arts and Creative Writing. Married, two adult daughters and one delightful granddaughter. I love words: reading them, writing them and learning more about them, so I was exited to come across this website. I am the Word Giver (Pronouncer, Spellmaster) for the annual County Spelling Bee. I also enjoy movies, opera, classical music and University of Michigan football and basketball (despite their current woes). I'm in two choirs (singing tenor!) and look forward especially to the foreign travel that one choir undertakes every two years; I've been to Spain, Japan and Greece with them.
