About Me
I teach AP Literature and AP Language at Palm Beach Gardens High School. I am also a private SAT and ACT tutor, and though my natural love is of words and letters, the concrete nature of SAT/ACT math certainly appeals to my OCD.

I am also the lacrosse coach at PBGHS (2008 Sate Champs!), and frequently employ sports analogies within my teaching.

I am the proud father of Rosey & Roman, and grateful husband of Mrs. G, and am absolutely filthy from beyond the three-point line.

Favorite Word:

superfluous
I often yell this at the refs in the course of coaching lacrosse games, with regard to slashing by the opposing team. It confuses the refs enough that we typically get a penalty in our favor.

Least Favorite Word:

a lot
First, most of my students think it's one word, "alot." Second, it pains me greatly to see the following phrase in an AP thesis: "The author uses a lot of rhetoric in their speech."
