reiterateDuring high school, as a student worker with a local Federal agency, I tried to impress the secretary by saying, "I want to 'reinerate'...". Ms. Yamada promptly corrected my pronunciation, gave me the dictionary, and instructed me to look up the word. I looked up the word, copied its definition, and added it to my "new word" listing.
Least Favorite Word:
dumbI do not like this word because it has served as a "badge of shame" to many of our youth, stunting their intellectual growth.
