About Me
I'm a writer and business owner (Greenfire Creative, LLC). My freelance work includes the Legacy Award winning book, "High IQ Kids: Collected Insights, Information, and Personal Stories from the Experts," and "Is Your Child Bipolar? The Definitive Resource on How to Identify, Treat, and Thrive with a Bipolar Child" (by Mary Ann Mcdonnell & Janet Wozniak with Judy Fort Brenneman). I'm also an interpretive writer, trainer, and planner ("interpretive" refers to exhibits and programs at museums, national parks, zoos, etc.), and I created and present the Interpretive Writing Intensive and Advanced Interpretive Writing workshops as well as writing workshops on fiction and creative nonfiction. My essays and creative nonfiction have appeared in a variety of publications.

Favorite Word:

ignorance
This is not my favorite word, but it is what I'm frustrated about at the moment, because my favorite word is not in Vis. Th.'s dictionary. My favorite word is: KAKABEKIA. It's the genus name of a precambrian microbe (there are modern ones still here as well as fossilized ones). I like the word because of the story of its discovery and because of its sound and rhythm (I like "noisy" words!)

Actually, my least favorite word is probably in the dictionary, but why would I type it and have it visible on my profile page? My least favorite word is commonly referred to in the media as: "the 'f' word" I don't like this word because it is LAZY. C'mon all you tough guys who think it's so cool to use it; be creative with your profanity! (Read a little Shakespere, learn the art of the insult!)
