I started studying English when I was 7 years old. Our family had just bought our first computer and gotten it home, installed and with a very fast internet connection. As a child, I immediately grew attached to it. It was so interesting, typing in a few words and seeing what would happen. I learned a lot in a very short amount of time, and soon you could see me playing English games on the internet.
I soaked up all words and expressions like a sponge; I translated the word's meanings whenever I didn't understand them. I also watched a lot of TV back then, which helped me pick up on the American accent, and eventually, I could speak, write, read and understand English like no one else when we started having English lessons in fourth grade, two years later.
I have always had straight A's in English; from the very moment I took English lessons, I excelled even more at it.
Now, at 14 years old and in ninth grade, I only have the vocabulary and some grammar left to study. Here I am!
