Caterina DiGirolamo discovered her passion for photography when she first visited Sicily and was shown this ancient culture and landscape through the eyes of her grandfather a born and bred native of that land. Aged fifteen she picked up her first camera and saw the world through different eyes. Excited by her ability to capture spontaneous human emotions, pride, strength and spirit she used her camera to get involved in people’s lives and to tell a powerful story through photos. She completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts with her major medium being photography, on completion she set out to travel the world and has captured thousands of moments through her lens. She is published in La Republica and has exhibited in both Italy and Australia.
