Wordsmithing (or trying to) - vaguely misanthropic female - love/need good company, (rare, easily bored otherwise) so find my own the best - compose dialogue on the computer and fondly imagine others responding just as I'd like them to. But only waste time on such twaddle when there's a work drought - such as there is right now - waiting for a client looking for this terrific oral history transcription service I provide - done heaps of it - some interesting, some not (depends on the interviewer). On occasions enter writing competitions, but fail to 'submit' - so awfully faux noir, or whatever you call it - 'social realism?' What the hell is that? Spend spare time 'knitting' on the keyboard, raving and ranting on the topic of verbal pollution, such as 'clearly'... (can't think right now of the others)then discover I'm doing just that, and become exasperated when the word I'm looking for escapes me.
That's about it really. Gabrielle T
