juxtapositionI learned it for the SAT and have remembered it ever since because of the way it sounds.

deltaI'm in business school, so I frequently hear my classmates use the word "delta" in reference to the difference or incremental change between two numbers. I don't mind the word itself, it's just evocative of people trying to sound "businessy." Well, it looks like I need to find a better (or actual) word for "businessy."
