About Me
I am a three times retired medical school professor (Microbiology and Emergency Medicine). I grew up in Louisiana but me–I am not Cajun, no ... or yes. ... For years, I had planned to write a novel set in a Caribbean medical school, like those in which I taught (1995-2008). After a finalist retirement in 2009, I moved to my new home in Maryland. I still dream of writing a novel set in in the West indies. I'll do that when I run out of other delightful challenges.

Okay, I will play your silly game, but how can anyone have something against a word. However, while I have nothing against the word, I do detest the insatiable desire for wealth . . . or any other insatiable desire.
