Dr. Schuh, a social scientist, is currently engaged with the Office of Medical Education to introduce greater rigor in curriculum design and educational research. His secondary appointment is in the Graduate School of Public Health, where he is developing a protocol for measuring the burden on organizations as they respond to emergencies and disasters.

Dr. Schuh is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and of the American Evaluation Association (AEA)
