About Me
I'm Irish with words . . . all of it came to me except the singing, which may yet . . . a student of the I Ching . . . Have an MA in Russian Studies . . . dug many a ditch since. A writer (Omygod!). wrote for encyclopedias for 7 years, got to be a Sr. Ed. in NYC (The Peter Principle was about to kick in to lock me in toI my level of incompetence.) . . . I was 32 . . . Sayonara publishing . . . copy writing for Valium, 6 mths then 2 1/2 yrs at Baruch College (Gestaltstyle) . . . 1973 my wife made a Sioux tipi from 80 yds of 36" canvas . . . we spent the summer in it by a trout stream in the Catskills, and here we still are, living in nature with one to love doing meaningful work. 17 yrs in the building trades, learned a lot but never was a natural. Got certified NYS high school, English at 50. Fell in a cesspool when I was 2 1/2 and a 4-yr old put the top back on . . . took a while to get out of that one! Write, teach, tell!

The first word of the title I Ching, 'e' is the sound. Ching is a book. "The Book of Changes,' it is called, so I entails the wisdom of Chinese sages who long ago sat a while at the Void, and as energy entered found the organizing force of the world we live in. Such a simple symbol!
