ointmentI like saying the word. There is something comic and vaguely obscene about making the sounds. They push against the back of the roof of the mouth, then thrust themselves out the lips. Say the word aloud several times and you'll be soothed by the oddity or tickled by the comedy.
Least Favorite Word:
ointmentIt is an unpleasant word that doesn't sound at all like what it means, although unguent and unction are hardly salves either.
