About Me
Teaching art to children and adults over these past thirty years has been the most rewarding career and experience that I could ask for. Years of attending state and national conferences, international travel, painting, workshops, seminars and continued education confirms my belief that ART teaches the entire curriculum. This visual thesaurus further enhances my beliefs that we think first in pictures. Next symbols called letters or words are used to add meaning to interpretation. These word maps are an excellent way to build vocabulary for writers, educators and this generation of students in an interactive world.

retardThe worst thing that I can ever think of is to deny a child an education or worse yet to have received an education only to put one beneath one another. Retard, when used to describe a person, is one of those demeaning words that reflections one’s own ignorance and damages the heart of the other.
