Favorite Word:

lugubrious
a very accomplished musician once described my musicianship with this word. I was then a 16 year old aspiring jazz musician. I had never heard the word, and after discovery, although it was not complementary I have chosen to covet it. He has since passed on. I still find the word fascinating; but his delivery of the word remains priceless.

It is fine if one uses it to describe behavior; but after I've skillfully performed a piece of music or framed a unique,colorful and panoramic photo essay..nice just don't cut it!!!
