About Me
I enjoy writing poetry especially; love playing around with words...looking up their meanings, rhyming. I took a test on-line and was described as a "word warrior" from the results and was suggested to look into writing from home as a career, as I am a stay at home mom.
I did win a contest for writing a poem about my pregnancy. The contest was sponsored by a local tv station in Pennsylvania and I won $500.00 towards an airline ticket (which I gave to my mother), so she could fly across the country to see my daughter, once she was born!
I have submitted a few poems on poetry.com and have been published by them and am continually being asked by them to write more poetry to be included in their books. Are they legit?

stupidVery few people are stupid and even those who are truly unintelligent have plenty to offer. I have a cousin who has multiple sclerosis, who is actually very bright, but cannot speak. He has a heart of gold and the most beautiful smile and enthusiasm. His body was damaged in the birthing process, his brain in highly intelligent.
