I have passed the half century mark yet I still seem relatively ignorant (especially according to my nephews and even my own children). Still, no matter how limited my intellect may reputedly be, I enjoy history and the many previous incarnations of language and life. I am fluent in English (American & British), relatively fluent in Spanish, Previously fluent in Malay, and am somewhat familiar with Hindi, Punjabi, French, Italian, and also know a couple of words in German, Russian, and Polish.
Always ready to learn more, especially about cultures and languages that I am only familiar with or don't even know!
