How to install the Desktop Edition on Windows 7

The Visual Thesaurus Desktop Edition version 3.0 is fully compatible with Windows 7. Older versions of the Visual Thesaurus might not work properly. If you have version 2.0, we recommend you upgrade to version 3.0.

If you purchased the Visual Thesaurus before December 2009, you will need a new installer. Please request a new download by following these instructions:

1. If you purchased and downloaded the software from our website, please visit http://www.visualthesaurus.com/download/ and follow the instructions for obtaining a new download link.
2. If you installed the software from the CD-ROM, please submit a Support Request including your serial number and the reason for requesting a new download. To submit a Support Request, click on the Contact Us link in the left-hand margin on this page, or click here, and follow the prompts to contact our Support Team.

To Install in Windows 7:

Right-click on the installer icon and select "Run as Administrator" from the drop-down menu. You will be prompted to log in with as an administrator, then the installation will start.
