A Teacher Shares Vocab Tools for the Common Core

Here at Vocabulary.com, we've been followng ninth grade English teacher Marc Ginsberg's work with Vocabulary.com. Mr. Ginsberg started using the site with his students last winter, and since then, we've interviewed him about that experience, included him in a round-up of teachers using Vocabulary.com to create differentiated instruction, and even shared our conversation with one of his students

Last week, Mr. Ginsberg gave a talk on using web-based vocabulary instruction tools to align middle and high school curricula with the Common Core as part of a teacher-to-teacher professional development institute in the district where he works. He was speaking to an audience made up of math, science, social studies, and graphic arts teachers. With his permission, we're shaing his presentation here, as inspiration for any teachers considering using the site to teach vocabulary in their classrooms. Vocabulary.com can help align any curriculum with Common Core standards and, as Mr. Ginsberg points out, it's efficient for the teachers and students have fun!
