Your classroom reading is about to get LIT!
Project LIT Community — a grassroots network of book groups that aims to get students excited about reading by highlighting diverse, high-interest, culturally relevant books — has officially named their picks for the 2019-2020 school year. Now that there are over 600 Project LIT Community chapters across the country, the number of selections has been bumped up to 40 — so you're sure to find a book for every reader.
If you're a Project LIT Community chapter leader looking for resources to support your students' reading, Vocabulary.com has got you covered. You'll find links below to curated vocabulary lists for the 2019-2020 picks. Check this page regularly, as we'll be updating with more lists in the coming weeks.
You can also read our interview with Project LIT Community founder Jarred Amato and find links to vocabulary lists for all of the 2018-2019 books selections here.
