About Me
I am currently a research assistant for ASU. I am applying for graduate school in speech pathology to five schools. This has been a dream for fifteen years and a resolute goal for three. I am writing my statements of purpose and am hopeful that this tool will augment my writing skills. I majored in linguistics, teaching, and reading recovery.

Favorite Word:

ethos
I like this word because it stems from the Greek word meaning custom or character. It can be the distintive spirit of a culture, era, or person. It can also mean the moral values of a person. My ethos of determination and resolve, I hope, will become the key to graduate school acceptance.

pulchritude
I know that this word means beauty, but whenever I hear it, which is never, it is the but of jokes. "You will never forget that pulchritudinous means beautiful because it is such an ugly word".
