Favorite Word:

It's a romantic word. It suggests stories round the campfire, oral traditions, and a belief in intuitive truths rather than evidence-backed proofs.

Least Favorite Word:

It's as dry as dust. How ironic that this word contains the word 'story' when the subject is more concerned with emulating its scientific sister subjects - eg paleontology and archaeology - than with telling stories. Or am I misjudging the subject? Am I out of date?
