About Me
I am a high school English teacher in Canada. My wife and I are blessed with an amazing daughter. We are cat lovers and our current feline is an all-black rescued cat named Monti. My hobbies are reading, writing and inline speedskating. My background is Norwegian; I came to Canada at age three. I speak English, French and Norwegian. Language is one of my great passions. If I was shipwrecked on a desolate island, I would want books over music. My favourite authors include gifted writers: Agatha Christie, Henning Mankell, Jo Nesbo, Khaled Hosseini, Stephen King and Simon Winchester. Stephen King wrote in one of his stories that every English teacher secretly dreams of writing a book. I think he's right! I'll sign off with this thought: We build peace by expressing goodwill through language.
