About Me
Journalism major became a five-time company president. Now busy redefining the overextended title of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). I encourage clients to name a Chief Alignment Officer (CAO) to ensure strategic alignment of people, money, technology, and other mission-critical resources. (Save the CEO designation for signing contracts.) Bold book is changing lives one key word at a time.

Favorite Word:

Too many talented people in the Land of the Free have been lulled into inaction. "Ascendancy" (i.e., social boldness) reminds others and me to step up to the plate and swing at life's abundance. And it also prompts us to also take turns on the pitcher's mound to send a few fast balls to other heavy hitters. Every fully responsible leader has to practice what she or he preaches about engagement, passion, excellence, action, performance and results. Our world depends on ascendancy of good people.

Least Favorite Word:

It is a word with little promise. Occasionally it saves a child from burning a hand on a hot stove, or protects boundaries set in personal and professional relationships. Yet too often is is a synonym for fear of failure and fear of success. When used to stop progress, No becomes a four letter word.
