About Me
I am a three times retired medical school professor (Microbiology and Emergency Medicine). I grew up in Louisiana but me–€“I am not Cajun–no ... and yes. ... For years, I had planned to write a novel set in a Caribbean medical school, like those in which I taught (1995-2008). After a finalist retirement in 2009, I moved to my new home in Maryland. I still dream of writing a novel set in in the West indies. I'll do that when I run out of other challenges. As of 2016, I am still dreaming.
