Favorite Word:

This simple, inoffensive word that slides like a snake under a stage curtain evokes all the best and most positive in life. It should be said with a slight smile and a twinkle of approval.

Least Favorite Word:

Tradition is the dirtiest word I know. It represents the power of ignorance and the seductiveness of settling for the conventional, the easy, the thoughtless and the mediocre. The rhythm of the word offends me too. The d and the second t are so close that they seem as constraining and limiting as the idea. Clipped, military in bearing, without thought or magic.

Favorite Quote:

"This is the true joy of life, the being used by a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy."
- George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman
