Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)

Now you got me running, running, running for cover.
I'm begging you for a little sympathy,

I don't want no damage
But how'm I gonna manage with you

But I've a feeling it's time to try.
I never did believe in the ways of magic,
But I'm beginning to wonder why.

You're so far away
I wonder if you hear what I say
This love for you I can't conceal

hiatus
She took a hiatus from the band in 1998. "I just wanted to embrace being in the English countryside and not have to troop around on the road," she said to the Guardian. "I moved to Kent, and I loved being able to walk around the streets, nobody knowing who I was. Then of course I started to miss it."
The Guardian

"We were so lucky to have a life with her," Fleetwood Mac said in their statement. "Individually and together, we cherished Christine deeply and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. She will be so very missed."
