I've been a writer, editor and consultant for about 25 years (mostly food, wine and travel), and I have co-founded Wine X Magazine, the industry's premier publication for young adults. I've written for dozens of magazines and newspapers and my cookbook, Seafood Pasta & Noodles -- The New Classics, was published by Ten Speed Press.

I'm also a lifelong word junkie, and take pleasure in all kinds of word games and puzzles. In addition, I enjoy nature activities such as birding, snorkeling, and astronomy, plus photography, music (I play ukulele and write Hawaiian-themed songs), crafts and gardening. And cats.
